Terms of Service

What this service is

Mom's Elf Helper is an independent helper for parents. It offers free idea and letter tools, and one-time packs of short AI-generated videos made from a photo you upload.

You need to be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and to have the right to use any photo you upload.

Your photo, and the person in it

You keep ownership of the photo you upload and of the videos generated from it. By uploading, you give us permission to process that photo and to send it to our third-party AI video provider so the clip can be rendered.

Only upload a photo you have the right to use. Please avoid uploading photos of other people's children, and avoid photos where a child's face is the main subject. The clip works best when the elf itself fills the frame, which is also the safer thing to upload.

How long we keep things

Free trial photos and videos are deleted after 7 days. Paid photos and videos are deleted after 30 days.

Download anything you want to keep. Once the retention window closes, the file is gone and we cannot recover it.

Accounts

There are no passwords. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, and you receive a recovery code you should keep somewhere safe.

Keep your recovery code private. Anyone with access to your email inbox or your recovery code can reach your account.

Payments and refunds

Packs are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Nothing renews automatically and there is no subscription to cancel.

A pack is refundable in full within 14 days as long as none of its videos have been generated. See the Refund Policy for the details.

Acceptable use

Do not use this service to create content that is unlawful, sexual, hateful, harassing, or that depicts a real person in a misleading way. Do not try to bypass the safety checks, the rate limits, or the credit system.

Our AI provider applies its own content checks. A request it rejects does not consume a video, and you will be asked to change the photo or the description.

Availability and limits

This is a small seasonal service. Generation times vary with demand, and we do not guarantee that a clip will render within a particular time. If a render fails on our side, it does not consume a video.

We may change or discontinue features, and we may suspend an account that abuses the service or attempts to defraud it.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not affiliated with any toy or book company, as set out below.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will update the date below and, for anything significant, tell you by email.
